The short answer

Know what stays.

A browser preference is not a service record. Clearing one does not erase the other. These eight answers separate browser storage from the information sent to Hertrichs.

Who is responsible?
Hertrichs, trading at hertrichs.us. Postal address: 1420 P. O. BOX, SEAFORD, DE 19973, SEAFORD, DE, United States.
What stays in my browser?
Your choice under site_consent_v2 and a return token for support chat. Optional analytics and advertising storage depend on consent. The chat token is not an account or a password.
Where is the information?
The choice and chat return token are held in your browser. Submitted inquiries and conversations are held through the site's hosting; inquiry notification copies travel through the mail provider to the operator. Advertising information also reaches the relevant platforms.
How long is it kept?
Consent choice: 6 months. Inquiries and email copies: 18 months. Chat transcripts: 18 months. Server and access logs: 90 days. Platform records follow the respective provider's policy, not the site's consent-record period.
Who else receives data?
Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC, Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd handle their respective advertising services. The hosting provider stores the inquiry database. The mail provider carries notifications to Hertrichs.
Can I still make an inquiry?
Yes. Decline does not stop you reading service information, calling or sending a request. Consent to a reply about your vehicle is separate from permission for optional advertising and analytics storage.
How do I remove a record?
Change cookie choices to withdraw optional storage consent. Use browser settings to clear stored browser data. For an inquiry or chat already sent, use the data-request route; a request is answered within 14 days.
Who can I write to?
[email protected]. For help by phone, call (302) 629-4553. A page URL and the storage name are useful; do not send a live chat token.
