Use this site to ask about the next vehicle decision or auto repair after purchase. No payment is taken here. Read these terms before sending a request; a later vehicle sale or repair agreement sets out the work and the price you actually accept.

1. Your contact is Hertrichs.

These website terms are with Hertrichs, trading at hertrichs.us. Hertrichs is a family dealer network with vehicle sales inquiries and after-purchase service support. The postal address for these terms is 1420 P. O. BOX, SEAFORD, DE 19973, SEAFORD, DE, United States.

The website is an introduction to that relationship, not the paperwork for a vehicle purchase or a repair. The About Hertrichs page explains the working method. For a question about an existing request, use the contact details below rather than treating information on this site as a change to an agreement you already have.

2. Dealer service and parts start with an inquiry.

The service catalogue describes vehicle sales inquiries, scheduled vehicle service inquiries, diagnostic service, parts requests and collision panel repair inquiries. You can send a message about a vehicle concern or ask which inquiry path fits the work. The Hertrichs service department needs the vehicle details before it can assess what that request involves.

These pages do not diagnose a vehicle remotely. A photograph or description of a damaged panel does not establish the condition of the structure behind it. A warning light described in a message does not establish which part needs replacement. Work requiring inspection remains subject to that inspection.

This site provides no account or password system, payment facility or live stock commitment. It is not an emergency service. If a vehicle appears unsafe to drive, do not use a submitted message or an unanswered chat as permission to keep driving. Seek appropriate immediate assistance instead of waiting for a website response.

3. Nothing is sold on this site.

The catalogue is inquiry-only. There is no cart or checkout, and Hertrichs takes no payment or card data through these pages. A service request is not a binding quote. The site displays no prices; any preliminary figure communicated about a request is an estimate, not a binding quote, unless it is expressly offered as one in a separate agreement.

An inquiry becomes an order only through a separate agreement with Hertrichs after a person reviews the request and the relevant details are confirmed. That agreement must establish the vehicle or work being supplied and the terms you accept. An automatic receipt, a chat acknowledgment or a suggested date is not that agreement.

Requested timing is a preference, not a booking. Ask for confirmation before arranging delivery of a vehicle or relying on a collection date. Parts availability and vehicle availability also need confirmation; a description in the catalogue does not hold an item for you.

4. Scope sets the price.

Pricing is discussed in USD. There is no charge collected on the website, and sending an inquiry does not itself authorize a diagnostic fee or other paid work. Ask for the applicable charges and their basis before agreeing to a service outside the website.

A vehicle sales inquiry needs person-reviewed vehicle details. Scheduled service pricing depends on the inspection and requested work. Diagnostic pricing depends on the scope to be investigated, not merely the symptom entered in the form. A parts price depends on the exact part identity and availability confirmed by reply. Collision repair pricing follows assessment of the damaged panel and the repair scope.

The price can change when an inspection reveals work that was not visible in the original description, when the requested specification changes, or when a different part is needed. Applicable taxes and other charges must be addressed in the separate quote or agreement. A website description is not authorization for additional work; confirm the revised scope and its cost before accepting it.

5. Send details you can stand behind.

Provide accurate contact information and describe the vehicle concern as you know it. You do not need to identify a failed component to ask about diagnosis. Distinguish what you observed from what someone suggested might be wrong; those are different starting points for a service request.

Submit information for yourself or with the authority of the person concerned. Do not send payment card details, passwords, identity documents or unrelated private information in the inquiry form or support chat. If a request needs supporting records, ask which details are needed before sending them.

The form records your name, phone, email, address, kind of inquiry, message, requested specification and consent tick. It also records the IP address, browser user-agent string, referring URL, form-render time and submission time. Chat keeps the conversation and a token in your browser so you can return to it. The privacy statement explains how those records are handled. Consent to contact about a request is not consent to advertising storage.

6. Keep the inquiry route usable.

You may browse the public pages and use the contact routes for genuine questions. You must not interfere with another visitor's use of the site or use the service desk as a route for harassment. In particular, do not:

  • Send threats, unlawful material, unsolicited promotions or repeated messages intended to overwhelm the service desk.
  • Impersonate another person, supply someone else's contact details without authority, or misrepresent your right to act for a vehicle owner.
  • Probe for unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls or attempt to retrieve another visitor's inquiry or chat.
  • Use automated requests to overload the site or extract personal information from it.

Ordinary browsing and reasonable accessibility tools are not prohibited by these rules. If something is not working, report the page and the problem rather than repeatedly submitting the same form.

7. The material has an owner.

The site text, design, photographs and marks belong to Hertrichs or their respective rights holders and are used subject to those rights. Access to the website does not transfer ownership of that material or grant a right to use the Hertrichs name to imply an association.

You may view the pages and retain a copy for your own reference when considering a vehicle or service inquiry. Do not republish photographs, sell copies of the catalogue or use the branding in advertising without permission from the relevant rights holder. Uses permitted by applicable law remain permitted.

You retain rights in material you submit. By sending it, you allow Hertrichs to use it to review and respond to the request and to administer that conversation. This does not grant permission to turn your inquiry into a public endorsement.

8. A page is not a repair warranty.

The website and its general information are provided as is and as available, to the extent permitted by law. Hertrichs does not warrant that access is uninterrupted or that every description will be free from error. Report a detail that appears wrong so it can be reviewed. Do not rely on a page as the sole basis for a safety or purchasing decision.

The site gives no guarantee of a repair outcome, completion time, vehicle availability or parts compatibility. Information about body repair after an accident does not promise an insurer's approval or payment. Photographs describe the type of work; they are not a statement of the condition of your vehicle.

Any warranty applying to a vehicle, part or completed repair must be identified in the separate documents supplied for that transaction. These website terms do not create an additional warranty and do not remove a warranty or consumer right that applies by law. Ask what coverage applies to the particular work before authorizing it.

9. Website limits have legal limits too.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hertrichs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. This includes lost business opportunities or lost profits resulting from reliance on general site information rather than a confirmed agreement. There is no invented financial cap in these terms.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer protections still apply. A separate vehicle sale or service agreement, together with applicable law, governs responsibility for the actual vehicle or work; these website terms do not replace it.

Links to third-party policies help explain another organization's handling of information. Hertrichs does not control those external pages. Their terms do not become a repair commitment from Hertrichs merely because a link appears here.

10. Abusive access can be stopped.

Hertrichs may refuse a submission or restrict access where there is misuse, a security threat or a legal requirement to do so. The site can also be unavailable during maintenance or a technical fault. These measures concern the website, not an automatic cancellation of a separately accepted vehicle or service agreement.

If you believe a genuine inquiry was blocked, contact Hertrichs by phone or email. Do not try to bypass a restriction. Restricting website access does not remove your right to ask about your personal information, raise a complaint or exercise rights provided by law.

11. Ad choices stay separate from service.

Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads send traffic here. Their click identifiers are gclid for Google, msclkid for Microsoft and fbclid for Meta. Arriving through an advertisement does not make a catalogue description a binding offer or change the need for a person-reviewed inquiry.

Consent Mode v2 holds ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage denied until you allow storage. They are set back to denied the moment you decline or withdraw. Global Privacy Control, sent through the Sec-GPC header, is honored as an opt-out without asking again. You can decline advertising storage and still use the public site and inquiry routes.

The cookies and advertising statement explains the consent choice stored under site_consent_v2 and the platforms involved. Microsoft's own handling is described in the Microsoft privacy statement. Use the cookie controls to change storage preferences, not the inquiry consent checkbox.

12. Keep access to your information.

If a page or form presents an access barrier, use the accessibility contact route or call Hertrichs. Describe the page and the control that failed. You can ask about dealer service and parts without completing the online form.

For access, correction or deletion of personal information, use the data-request instructions or write to [email protected]. A data request is answered within 14 days. Inquiry records and their email copies are retained for 18 months; chat transcripts for 18 months; server and access logs for 90 days; the consent-choice record for 6 months.

US state privacy law applies, including California's CCPA/CPRA and the other state laws in force. The privacy statement also addresses GDPR rights for visitors reaching the site from Europe. You may complain to your state Attorney General and, in California, to the California Privacy Protection Agency. These terms do not require you to give up those routes.

13. DE law governs these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of DE, United States, with disputes heard in the courts of SEAFORD. This provision applies to use of the website. A separately agreed vehicle sale or service contract may contain terms specific to that transaction.

Nothing in this section removes mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the law. Where a rule on jurisdiction or consumer protection cannot be displaced by agreement, that rule continues to apply. You can raise a concern directly with Hertrichs without giving up a legal right to pursue it elsewhere where the law permits.

14. Updates are dated here.

Hertrichs announces changes to these website terms by publishing the revised text on this page and changing the last-updated date at the top. Read the current version when returning to the site, especially before sending a new request. You may keep a copy of the terms for your records.

A change to website terms does not, by itself, rewrite a vehicle purchase or service agreement already accepted. If a proposed change requires notice or consent under applicable law, publication here does not replace that requirement. Questions about which terms apply to an existing request should be sent to Hertrichs with enough information to identify the conversation.

15. Ask before you authorize work.

For a question about these terms, contact Hertrichs, trading at hertrichs.us. Identify the section you mean and, if it concerns a request already sent, the contact details used for that request. Do not include card data or passwords.
